Facilities Technician This highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented position is responsible for ensuring the optimal operational standard and physical appearance of both Whiskey Row Nashville and Hand Cut Nashville. This role provides responsive, high‑quality repair and maintenance support to minimize operational disruptions and enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong creative problem‑solving skills, can work autonomously with minimal supervision, and demonstrates basic computer literacy (web browser, e‑mail, work order systems) plus the ability to respond quickly to on‑call emergencies.

Responsibilities

Location Audits and Planning:

Conduct a comprehensive location audit/walk‑through on the first day of each workweek. Collaborate with site leadership (GM/Director) to develop and execute a prioritized weekly punch list based on audit findings.

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance:

Proactively and continuously assess locations to identify opportunities for physical improvement. Personally complete all routine and urgent repairs efficiently and thoroughly.

Vendor Management:

Triage all incoming work orders in real‑time, determining the most effective course of action (internal repair vs. external vendor dispatch). Immediately coordinate and dispatch external vendors for repairs exceeding in‑house capabilities. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality service delivery.

Logistics and Administration:

Manage the movement of inventory and assets to and from offsite storage locations as required. Timely submit all repair‑related invoices and expense reports.

Qualifications

1 to 3 years of relevant work experience

Must be able to work Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sundays and Mondays are scheduled days off designed to accommodate emergency on‑call responsibilities.

Carpentry:

Basic framing, drywall repair, painting, trim work, cambios and adjustment/repair of doors and associated hardware.

Plumbing:

Basic fixture repair/replacement (faucets, toilets), routine drain unclogging, and leak identification.

Electrical:

Basic troubleshooting, replacement of light fixtures and ballasts, and replacement of outlets/switches (must adhere strictly to safety protocols).

HVAC:

Filter replacement, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating complexèvre repairs with licensed technicians.

General Maintenance:

Appliance troubleshooting and minor repair, furniture assembly/repair, pressure washing, arquivo and exterior painting.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and comfortably work in confined or tight spaces.

A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are mandatory for travel between managed locations, offsite storage facilities, and supply houses.
