Contracts Administrator 3 or 4 - Northrop Grumman Location: Dulles, VA.

Overview At Northrop Grumman we work on revolutionary systems that impact lives worldwide. This role, which is 100 % onsite, positions you as a key member in contract preparation, negotiation, administration and customer contact within the Space Sector.

Your Role And Impact

Monitor contracts and associated programs to ensure obligations are clearly communicated and understood.

Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiation, administration and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications.

Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes and maintain historical information.

Review terms and conditions to assess risks related to financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and other potential risk areas; recommend mitigation strategies.

Enter and maintain contract data in the Contract Management System or Enterprise Accounting System.

Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications For Level 3

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience negotiating and administering various contract types.

Understanding of government regulations such as FAR or DFAR.

Active Top‑Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.

Basic Qualifications For Level 4

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience negotiating and administering various contract types.

Understanding of government regulations such as FAR or DFAR.

Active Top‑Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.

Preferred Qualifications

In‑depth knowledge of FAR, DFAR, UCC and experience with different contract types.

Experience supporting ECPs and REAs.

Extensive proposal support experience.

NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM).

Salary and Compensation Primary Level (Level 3) Salary Range: $94,200.00 – $141,200.00.

Secondary Level (Level 4) Salary Range: $117,500.00 – $176,300.00.

The ranges are general guidelines; actual offers are based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential and discretionary bonuses may apply.
