Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Unarmed PT

New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents while providing a welcoming presence, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrol degradates throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activities or security‑related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist with access control by monitoring복 entrances, exits, and authorized areas within the healthcare location.
Support emergency drills and respond to alarms or emergency calls according to established protocols.
Maintain detailed accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by portfolio protocols.
Provide visible presence to help deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities in and around the healthcare location.
Minimum Requirements el>
At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at lea 18? age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
