BIM Coordinator
who thrives on bringing clarity to complexity, raising the quality bar, and helping project teams perform at their best.
This highly visible role is embedded within live project teams and connected to a wider, practice‑leading BIM function. Opportunity
As a
BIM Coordinator , you’ll be the single point of contact for BIM coordination on your project(s).
You’ll oversee model coordination, optimize workflows and associated technologies, and deliver coordinated models, data, reports, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
You won’t just maintain models—you’ll shape how teams work, ensure standards are consistently applied, and support technical upskilling and mentoring across the studio.
What you’ll be doing
Coordinating BIM delivery across one or more live projects, supporting teams working in Revit and associated tools.
Organising, configuring and maintaining BIM project setup and ongoing model management.
Managing Revit project production and content to keep delivery clean, consistent and efficient найдед.
Running coordination processes including clash detection and producing clear, actionable reports (e.g., via Navisworks).
Ensuring Foster + Partners’ BIM standards, procedures and workflows are applied and communicated clearly to project teams.
Providing technical support for BIM-enabling software applications and project delivery technology.
Supporting mentoring and technical upskilling within the studio, sharing best practice and raising capability.
Liaising with client BIM representatives and wider stakeholders to ensure smooth model coordination and data transfer.
Working closely with the Central BIM Group to embed updates to standards/workflows into projects.
Ensuring BIM contractual requirements are met with clear attention to risk and quality.
What we’re looking for
This role suits someone with strong BIM fundamentals and calm, confident coordination skills.
Proven experience as a
BIM Coordinator
on medium to large‑scale projects in
Revit .
Strong working knowledge of
Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks , including clash detection and prison reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across more than one project when needed.
Excellent organisation and communication skills (written + verbal) – you can translate technical detail into usable action.
A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to solving problems early.
A flexible, open attitude to new workflows and continuous development.
A degree in Architecture / Architectural Technology (or equivalent experience).
You’ll also be legally eligible to work in the country in which the role is based.
