Client Service Lead - Project Manager (CSL/PM)
to drive strategic growth and deliver exceptional transportation projects across North Carolina . This high-impact leadership role combines client engagement with hands-on project management, focusing on expanding our footprint with

T and municipal clients
in the Highways and Bridges submarket. As a trusted advisor and seller-doer, you’ll lead pursuit strategies, strengthen client relationships, and manage key transportation projects that improve mobility and transform communities across the state. What You’ll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for NCDOT and municipal clients, building trust and long-term partnerships. Act as Project Manager for highway and bridge design projects as well as non-design program contracts, including operational and safety improvement initiatives. Drive strategic pursuits by identifying, planning, and leading winning strategies for major transportation projects across North Carolina. Provide subject matter expertise in highway and bridge design, safety improvements, and project delivery. Represent Jacobs at industry conferences and events, positioning us as a leader in transportation solutions. Collaborate with sales, operations, marketing, and technical teams to align client needs with Jacobs’ capabilities. Influence project development and design standards while contributing to Jacobs’ growth in North Carolina’s transportation sector. Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in North Carolina. Progressive experience in transportation and highway engineering, including management of roadway design projects. Proven experience working with NCDOT and familiarity with North Carolina municipal transportation agencies. Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of NCDOT processes, design criteria, and project development procedures. Ideally, You’ll Also Have Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 12+ years of experience in transportation and highway engineering, including project management. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Public Manager (CPM) certification Established relationships with NCDOT divisions and local municipalities.
