Job Description - SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR-ENT (T232725)
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR-ENT to maintain the integrity of the operating system environment. The role includes performing system software upgrades, workstation and server administration setup, disk space planning, data backups, and maintaining continuity with licensing agreements. The position supports a secure environment, follows IT security policies and participates in training such as HIPAA and FERPA.

Install, configure, and manage university IT systems and software. Troubleshoot system outages and user issues. Document installation and update procedures and problem resolutions. Be available for on‑call duties as a member of a rotating schedule. QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field and two years of related experience; work experience can substitute for education.
