Matador Resources Company, a leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This position offers the opportunity to support the legal team by managing corporate governance, compliance and transactional matters, ensuring the smooth operation of legal functions within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining corporate governance documents, including board resolutions, meeting minutes and corporate policies.
Maintain and organize corporate records, legal documents and entity management systems.
Support corporate compliance activities, including the management of filings with regulatory agencies.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.
Prepare, proofread and format correspondence, presentations, and other documents.
Maintain and organize the legal team’s filing systems, both digital and physical.

Qualifications Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, and transactional processes.
Education And Experience
Four-year college degree is preferred.
Paralegal certification is a plus.
Experience as a corporate paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal setting is a plus.
