About The Role As a CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for complex installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of automated packing and distribution equipment. This role is part of the Material Handling function, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.

What You’ll Do

Provide technical and safety training.

Support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site and network when needed.

Develop and implement department business plans and budgets.

Manage internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities to meet department and distribution deadlines and goals.

Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance.

Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process.

Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.

Check the functionality of safety systems.

Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Impact the quality of own work.

Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2‑3 years of job‑related experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.

Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

1 year of related experience and/or training.

Availability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems and to analyze information and practices to make judgments.

Experience using powered or non‑powered hand tools.

Proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Intermediate math skills, including calculations of percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related figures.

Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher from a vocational school or college with a focus in mechanical or electrical engineering.

2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and other safety standards.

Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

2+ years’ experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

2+ years’ experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

2+ years of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.

2+ years’ experience following and demonstrating safety standards.

1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

CBRE’s compensation is based on a combination of education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $69,104 annually (or $33.18 per hour) and the maximum salary is $77,168 annually (or $37.10 per hour).
