Data Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Bellevue, WA.
You will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and monitoring frameworks.
Rate Range: $43/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks to support analytics and monitoring requirements.
Implement and enforce data governance and security best practices across all data platforms and processes.
Manage and optimize data storage solutions in Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for efficient data retrieval and processing.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Write and optimize queries using Kusto and PL/SQL for data analysis and monitoring purposes.
Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data systems.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
Proven expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ADLS for building and managing data pipelines.
Strong knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and proficiency in Power BI, Kusto, and PL/SQL.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $44.00 per hour
