As a Hardware Reliability Technician on the Starlink team, you will be responsible the reliability and quality of Starlink products through manufacturing, test, and installation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate and resolve quality related issues as they relate to the Starlink product department
Document production non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes as required
Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation
Support root cause investigations on Starlink products
Field return triage and root cause
PCB solder rework and x‑ray inspections of production MRB for root cause
Support production in critical containments and quality alerts
Assess production compliance to company and industry standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic: High school diploma or equivalency certificate
Basic: 1+ years of experience working in a production, mechanical, or manufacturing environment
Preferred: 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field
Preferred: Experience working with root cause/corrective action systems
Preferred: Self‑motivated, proactive, and experience managing multiple priorities and tasks
Preferred: Practical experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends, as needed
Must be willing to work one of the following shifts upon completion of training:
Monday‑Friday: 1st shift (8:00 am–6:00 pm) or 2nd shift (3:00 pm–1:00 am)
Schedule may vary depending on site operational needs and flexibility is required regarding overtime and weekend support
Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Must be willing to work onsite in Bastrop, TX – remote work not considered
