DescriptionProvides supervision and leadership to the patient care units. Specific functions include collaborating and supporting the manager with staff evaluations, patient flow, staff and family education, serving as a patient/guest service ambassador, and assisting with problem solving on tour of duty. Additionally coordinates staffing and nursing assignments for current and forthcoming shifts. Participates in hourly rounding and ensures compliance. Ensures that services are provided within the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and policies, and adheres to Baptist Health South Florida’s procedures. Estimated pay range: $46.02 – $61.21 per hour depending on experience.Degrees

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
If Bachelor’s degree is non‑nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP within 6 months of promotion or hire, depending on unit assignment.
Achieve certification in area of specialty within 2 years of promotion or hire.
.back oncology experience desirable.
Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years
