CNC Machinist III, 3rd shift

Join and apply for this role. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $23.00 to $30.00 per hour, a $4,000 sign‑on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision, disability, accident, and life insurance, as well as educational reimbursement.
Key Accountabilities
Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, machine status boards, and verbal and written instructions.
Machine and install or re‑cut chuck jaws as required.
Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine set‑ups.
Download and upload programs into the machine and make minor programming adjustments as needed.
Operate various types of computer numerical controls to manufacture finished machined products, maintaining tight tolerances.
Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure that company quality and quantity standards are maintained; document results; also inspect the work of other machinists.
May be required to operate multiple machines and rotate between departments.
Enter data into the ERP system.
Load and unload component parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating a CNC lathe, CNC mill, or resistance spot welder (any two of the three). Intermediate knowledge of machine set‑ups is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable attendance with minimal call‑offs.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience and knowledge of machining principles and methods for CNC machine tools.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.
External candidates must pass a machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude.
