Job Details We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and finance function of a fast-paced, industry-leading company. This role offers the opportunity to manage all financial operations, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and provide strategic insights that support business growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting.
Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, identifying and explaining variances.
Coordinate with various departments to consolidate financial information and prepare consolidated financial statements.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and control.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including sales and property tax laws.
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support business strategy and decision-making.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and information.
Manage and mentor accounting staff as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned, including inventory management, policy development, and financial services.
Qualifications
A CPA is preferred.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience, including both public accounting and industry.
