Infection Preventionist/Educator Coordinator
Taylor Community is seeking a licensed nurse in the State of New Hampshire to serve as the Infection Preventionist/Staff Educator for our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). The role focuses on leading infection prevention and control initiatives across all levels of care while overseeing clinical education and training programs to ensure staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of resident care.
Responsibilities
Lead infection prevention and control initiatives throughout the CCRC.
Maintain the facility’s activities aimed at preventing healthcare‑associated infections by isolating infection sources and limiting the spread of infectious organisms.
Develop, implement, and monitor the annual training plan for internal staff, delivering educational in‑services and approved training modules.
Facilitate the onboarding process for all health‑care applicants, ensuring compliance with Taylor Community protocols.
Perform floor nursing duties during shifts when needed, including occasional weekend and holiday coverage to support training efforts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of learning, quality improvement, and continuous resident safety.
Qualifications
Licensed registered nurse in the State of New Hampshire.
Proven experience in infection prevention, infection control, or a related clinical education role.
Strong clinical knowledge and teaching skills, with a passion for quality improvement and resident safety.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Valid New Hampshire driver’s license.
Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug testing.
