Overview
Performs a variety of duties related to cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and neuro radiology procedures, and is responsible for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients. Responsible for necessary quality control performance and documentation that supports best practice standards and accreditation initiatives. The RN utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to create a careุก plan for each patient based on age, physiological, psychosocial, and cultural diversity.
Location: Newport News, Virginia
Demonstrates ability to assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs by applying standards of practice as it relates to the specialty or patient population served.
Partners with patients and families to develop, implement and evaluate plan of care, treatments, and procedures that contribute to the physiological and psychosocial outcomes of the patient.
Accurately completes all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates organization of work, knowledge of process/procedure for applicable modality(s) and performs independently without close supervision.
Demlico accountability for environment of care and ensures availability of necessary resources to provide positive集团 workflow and efficient daily operations.
Participates positively by taking ownership in training and support of all team members and students as needed.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Program Graduate, Nursing (Required)
High School Diploma or GED, required only if Nursing Diploma Graduate (Required)
Experience
Critical Care Experience (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
Registered Nurse (RN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire (Required)
CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute upon hire (Required)
ACLS Provider – American Splash/Americkate/American Safety and Health Institute within 1-1/2 years (Required)
