What You’ll Do
Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within scope of practice.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow‑up care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from a four‑year college or university is preferred.
Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.
