General Utility Worker - Tacoma Convention Center
Location: Tacoma, WA
Job Description Are you self‑motivated and proud of the work you do? At Aramark, we take pride in the level of service and safety we provide. As a General Utility Worker, you’ll maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and our working environments, marking a solid entry point into a career in hospitality operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils cleaned and sanitized.
Maintain dishwashing station, including a three‑compartment sink and related areas.
Ensure equipment remains clean and in working condition; report any issues to management.
Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and coworkers.
Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
Ensure security of company assets.
Qualifications Deux
Understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
Ability to follow safety procedures when exposed to hazardous chemicals.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements This role may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may also be required.
Compensation Hourly rate: $19.28.
