Proficient English reading, writing, and communication.
Ability to follow instructions, read product labels and communicate requirements.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly/occasionally.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (optional).
Retail Management Certificate (optional).
Opportunity The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and maintains carts, assists customers with purchases, checks prices, and performs store maintenance.
Specific duties include
Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and from the parking lot.
Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and loading vehicles.
Check retail prices on products for check stand personnel.
Pull merchandise from check stand and return it to the proper shelf.
Walk aisles and return misplaced items to proper location; face merchandise as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of store entrance, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the day: sweep, mop, and clean restrooms as needed.
