Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation of the warehouse and property. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical skills, proven maintenance experience, and a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment, as well as performing general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and basic carpentry work. The position requires the use of various power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment, along with frequent physical activity that involves bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision. SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 5:30pm to 4:00am WAGE: $25+ an hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities

Assist in the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of warehouse equipment, including conveyor belts, forklifts, Crown equipment, and racking systems Support maintenance projects and preventive maintenance for tools, equipment, and building systems; tasks may include plumbing, painting, flooring repair, and general upkeep Perform minor building and property repairs, such as fixing locks, repairing walls, and replacing light bulbs. Install appliances, equipment, and other necessary components as needed Maintain the warehouse yard, including organizing, moving, and disposing of pallets/skids Operate equipment safely, including forklifts, floor scrubbers, and other warehouse machinery Report maintenance issues, progress, and completed work to the Facilities Maintenance Manager Promptly notify management of any forklift or equipment issues to ensure timely resolution Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the removal of empty boxes and debris from aisles Communicate effectively with management and team members to support a safe and efficient work environment Adhere to attendance expectations, including predictable on-site presence and working overtime as needed Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations
