About the Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuringpress the efficient operation and upkeep of all facility equipment and infrastructure within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will develop maintenance schedules, manage resources effectively, and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime. This role requires close collaboration with other departments to support operational goals and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, the Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all maintenance operations contribute to the overall productivity and reliability of the facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance roles with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Familiarity with maintenance management software and basic computer skills.
Ability to Sew and interpret technicalરાજ ervaren manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of parts and supplies, and vendor relationships.
Collaborate with operations and safety teams to ensure maintenance activities align with organizational standards and policies.
Prepare and maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, anddocumentation.
Skills:
The Maintenance Supervisor utilizes technical skills daily to diagnose and resolve complex equipment errors, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Leadership and communication skills are essential for managing the maintenance team, coordinating tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
