Morningside is excited to launch “The Cascades,” our brand-new upscale café and bar experience offering handcrafted coffee, espresso, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails to the vibrant community of older adults we serve.
We’re looking for passionate, energetic Mixologists who can bring both barista artistry and bartending skill to a role that’s about more than drinks, it’s about creating memorable moments.

We are hiring two full-time and one part-time Mixologist.
Shifts may include:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
(Operational Monday–Sunday)
Responsibilities As a Mixologist at The Cascades, you will:
Coffee & Beverage Crafting
Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks following established recipes.
Create beer, wine, and specialty liquor beverages safely and in compliance with Texas liquor laws.
Maintain fresh garnishes and beautiful presentation for all drinks.
Customer Experience
Provide warm, friendly, personalized service to residents and guests.
Understand and communicate daily specials, happy hour offerings, and menu items.
Address questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Operations & Cleanliness
Enter all orders into Dine.OS and process account charges or credit card payments.
Keep your workstation clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
Prepare quick-serve food items (snacks, breakfast sandwiches, pastries) using the X/Turbo Impinger Oven.
Maintain clean and appealing display areas for coffee, liquor, and food.
Wash and sanitize glassware, bar equipment, counters, wells, and coolers.
Ensure proper storage and secure lock-up of all beverage and food items at closing.
Perform weekly deep-cleaning of all equipment to maintain “like new” standards.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all HACCP standards for food handling, portion control, and temperatures.
Verify age for any guest with questionable eligibility for alcohol.
Recognize and respond appropriately to signs of intoxication, notifying leadership if needed.
What We’re Looking For
Prior bartending experience required
Barista experience strongly preferred
Friendly, professional, customer-focused personality
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced but welcoming environment
