Position Summary Jensen Drilling Company is seeking a qualified
Driller
for a full-time traveling position. This role involves operating specialized drilling equipment and supervising drilling crews on technically demanding projects. The Driller is responsible for ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate specialized drilling equipment for projects including horizontal drains, dewatering systems, soil and rock anchors, and micropiles
Lead, supervise, and coordinate drilling crews in the field
Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on all job sites
Ensure operational efficiency, quality control, and adherence to project requirements
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of drilling equipment
Work effectively in varied and challenging environments, including remote locations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Water Well License in both Oregon and Washington
Ability to travel extensively for project assignments
Demonstrated leadership ability and effective communication skills
Ability to meet requirements for work on
Federal projects , which may include
background checks, drug screening, and other federal compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Union membership
Experience operating multiple types of drilling rigs
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation in accordance with union scale
Full-time employment with consistent work schedules (40+ hours per week)
