POSITION SUMMARY The
Detailer / Quality Support Technician
plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional final product to our customers. This position is responsible for performing
thorough vehicle detailing and quality inspections
prior to customer delivery, ensuring all repairs meet CollisionRight’s high standards. The role also supports shop operations by assisting with
facility maintenance, organization, and cleanliness , helping create a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Perform detailed cleaning and final detailing of vehicles prior to customer delivery
Conduct visual inspections of repaired areas and promptly report any concerns or defects to the General Manager or assigned technician
Support general shop and grounds maintenance to ensure a clean, organized facility
Inspect goods and completed work according to quality and safety standards
Assist with ensuring test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly
Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and comply with hazardous waste disposal guidelines
Participate in monthly safety meetings
Maintain organization and proper function of tools and equipment in the detail department
Identify opportunities for improvement in quality control processes
Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom upkeep
Make minor repairs as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Prior automotive industry experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude a plus
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Flexibility to assist with various shop needs as they arise
Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to customer satisfaction
