Responsibilities
Answer the telephone and sell the community to prospective residents
Set appointments for prospective residents to visit and tour the community
Show prospective residents the community and apartment homes
Conduct timely follow‑up, schedule move‑ins and complete required paperwork
Close the sale to meet or exceed monthly sales goals
Provide exceptional customer service by responding quickly and courteously to resident inquiries and service requests, taking prompt action to resolve problems, and documenting situations as they occur
Play an integral role in resident retention through participation in resident activities, renewal preparation, follow‑up and resident needs assessments
Perform administrative tasks assigned by community management
Qualifications
Proven record of meeting monthly sales goals in a retail or multifamily sales role
Professional communication with prospects, co‑workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff
Strong passion for delivering best‑in‑class service to ensure the highest level of Customer Satisfaction and Retention
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment
Solid multitasking skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel for training and occasional meetings
Professional appearance, positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn
Education and Experience
Previous retail sales or multifamily leasing experience required
GED or high school diploma preferred
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
