About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Senior Staff / Tax Accountant
to join a well-established public accounting and business management firm. This is a direct hire opportunity for a professional with strong technical skills and a client‑focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
Generate financial reports using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Make adjusting journal entries for client bookkeeping, including adjusting schedules and reclassifying expenses.
Provide tax planning and consulting services.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in public accounting or business management (ideally 5+ years overall).
CPA or EA designation or tracking required.
Experience with
CCH Axcess
or
QuickBooks
preferred.
Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
