Join Our Team at PACE Supply’s Oakland Branch. PACE Supply is seeking a driven, self-motivated Warehouse Worker / Qualified Driver (Class C) in Oakland, CA. You will help ensure the delivery of appliances and plumbing products using a 24' flatbed truck, while supporting warehouse functions such as picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and managing inventory. Responsibilities

Safely and punctually deliver appliances, lighting, and plumbing products to customers’ locations, ensuring high-quality service and accurate order fulfillment. Perform warehouse tasks such as order picking, packing, shelving, and inventory maintenance. Operate forklifts and hand-held scanners to streamline operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Load and unload trucks; assist in material handling at job sites with proper safety protocols. Complete daily delivery paperwork and use scanning equipment with accuracy; obtain customer signatures on packing slips to confirm receipt of goods. Maintain clear communication with dispatch and scheduling advisors; provide real-time updates on delivery status and address customer concerns professionally. Adhere to route plans and schedules; adapt to changing requirements or urgent assignments; use specialized equipment as needed. Assist in training new Delivery Drivers to uphold service standards. Support warehouse duties, including picking, packing, shelving, and inventory maintenance. Qualifications

Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience and a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted. Proficient in basic mathematical operations (numbers up to four digits). Ability to organize items by size, alphabetical order, or numerical sequence; capable of grouping similar items accurately. Thorough understanding of traffic regulations and safe driving practices; commitment to adhering to speed limits and safety standards when operating a company vehicle. Familiarity with safety protocols for accidents in the warehouse or while operating a company vehicle; reporting procedures as required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic proficiency with standard office equipment and ability to learn new systems; basic computer skills (email and inventory management software). Fluent in English with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds consistently. Ability to obtain forklift and man lift certifications; must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment. Pre-Employment Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, and communicating verbally. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly; may involve carrying, dragging, and using a hand-truck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer; specific vision abilities required. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying outdoor weather conditions; occasional exposure to high places and vibration. Benefits
