Field Service Supervisor

Position Summary
The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all Field Service activities, personnel, and customer projects. This role ensures Field Service Technicians execute assignments in compliance with company and customer policies and procedures while meeting or exceeding estimated process hours. The Field Service Supervisor works closely with Sales and Production Supervisors to support operational efficiency, quality standards, and a safe, productive work environment in both shop and field settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values by working safely, communicating openly, respecting others, and supporting employee development.
Ensure Field Service personnel complete all required safety training, certifications, and documentation in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Sales and Production Supervisors to schedule daily Field Service Technician assignments in alignment with the Field Service Handbook and business needs.
Supervise Field Service personnel during shop-based operations to ensure compliance with procedures and run rate expectations.
Travel to 6–10 project sites annually to observe Field Service Technicians at customer facilities and ensure procedural and safety compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Field Service-related matters and escalate concerns to the Field Services Sales Manager or Plant Manager as needed.
Manage team performance through training coordination, employee evaluations, coaching, feedback, and corrective action.
Monitor employee morale and promote a positive, accountable, and engaged work environment.
Participate in daily leadership walks and scheduled meetings to monitor workflow and communicate priorities.
Ensure Field Service personnel represent the company professionally at all customer sites, following conduct standards, communication expectations, and customer protocols.
Maintain accurate MES transactions and job card documentation; reconcile MES data at the end of each shift.
Review project binder documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper close-out.
Ensure Field Service equipment is properly maintained, stored, and suitable for customer-site use.
Communicate shift performance, updates, and open issues to incoming supervisors to ensure continuity.
Coordinate with the Plant Manager regarding materials, tools, inventory, and waste management.
Document policy or procedural violations and take immediate disciplinary action when required.
Submit maintenance requests using internal systems to minimize equipment downtime.
Complete OSHA 30 training every 10 years and OSHA 10 training every 2 years (except in years OSHA 30 is completed).
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S and KPI tracking.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Participate in manufacturing and field duties as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support Field Service and company objectives.

Education and Experience
One-year certificate from a college or technical school
OR
Three to five years of related experience and/or training

Additional Requirements
Annual pulmonary function testing and respirator fit testing required
PPE includes Tyvek® coveralls, rubber boots, rubber gloves, safety glasses, face shields, particulate respirators, SARS mask, and steel-toed footwear
Additional PPE may be required based on job or customer requirements
