Registered Nurse - Maternal Child

to work at a Facility in

Tacoma, WA . These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate : $55 / hour

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse - Maternal Child in an acute care setting

Education: Associate's degree in nursing (ASN)

Work Experience: One Year of Experience in Nursing

License: Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories

US Citizen

NACI background check

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC issued

Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP)

Fetal monitoring Certification

Sugar, temperature, airway, blood pressure, lab work, and emotional support (STABLE)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates. Experience caring for postoperative patients.

Obtain patient history, and pertinent family history, and advanced medical directive information. Observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress. Assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administer medication and prescribed treatments, complete admissions and discharges, and promote convalescence and rehabilitation.

Manage care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions are mechanically assisted by life support equipment.

Knowledge of the transitional care of neonates is required.

HCW's will be required to float within similar specialties.
