Responsibilities

Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.

Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.

Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.

Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.

Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.

Maintain patient health records, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date documentation.

Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

State RN license and Nurse Practitioner license(s) to practice.

State prescriptive authority (if applicable).

Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).

State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required.

Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).

Master’s degree in Science of Nursing; if certificate does not state Nursing, a copy of transcripts is required.

Certification with hands‑on training in AHAотов, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health‑care providers; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required.

At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting.

Compensation Reasonably expected range: $118,400 – $148,000 annually (dependent on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors).
