Headlight Mental Healthcare is seeking an experienced behavioral health/psychiatry billing professional (solo biller or small billing firm) to manage end-to-end revenue cycle tasks for our multi-state outpatient psychiatric practice (Arizona and Oregon). This is a commission-based role paid as a percentage of monthly collections. We use DrChrono and require prior DrChrono billing workflow experience.
Core responsibilities (commission-covered):
Claim creation and submission from DrChrono
Payment posting and reconciliation (ERA/EOB)
Denial management, corrections, and appeals
A/R follow-up and underpayment work
Monthly reporting: collections by payer/state, denial trends, A.LO deptpoint, and key KPIs
Growth focus: expanding cash‑pay panel while keeping insurance pearls compliant and efficient
Required qualifications:
3+ أحد outpatient behavioral health/psychiatry billing
DrChrono billing workflow experience (required)
Strong denial/appeals and A/Rsed follow‑up skills
HIPAA‑compliant workflows; willing to sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and confidentiality agreement
Ability to provide clear monthly reporting and communicate proactively
Strongly preferred:
Oregon Medicaid/CCO and Medicare billing experience
Multi‑state billing experience (AZ and OR)
Compensation:
Commission: 5–7% of monthly collections (negotiable based on scope and experience)
Optional add‑ons by separate agreement: credentialing/enrollment, prior‑authorization‑heavy workflows, old A/R cleanup
