The College of Liberal Arts is hiring a
Student Employee – Communications and Marketing
to support CLA Student Services and Engagement. This role assists with a variety of communication and marketing tasks for CLA Student Services and Engagement. This position includes the creation and development of various newsletters, social media content, collateral materials, and other marketing-related projects as needed. This employee will regularly engage with students, alumni, employers, and campus partners. Essential Functions
Design materials to advertise services and career events and programs Create social media content that engages a variety of audiences Assist CLA staff at career-related events and other student services programs Maintain a communication and marketing calendar Attend all scheduled training events Assist with day-to-day operations within Career Services Utilize technological programs including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and InDesign Knowledge of Social Media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn Work 10-20 hours per week Why Work at Auburn?

Enrolled as an Auburn University student in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, Studio Art or a related field Available to work weekly office hours (10-20 hours) Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Strong interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications
Photography skills Knowledge of social media Ability to work Spring, Summer, and Fall Semester Pay Rate
Pay Rate $10.00/hour Work Hours
