Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology to support a fast‑paced IR department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience assisting with interventional procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures
Prepare patients pre‑procedure and monitor patients post‑procedure
Administer medications, IV therapy, and contrast agents per protocol
Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN License
AHA BLS certification
AHA ACLS certification
IV therapy and phlebotomy experience
Prior Interventional Radiology or procedural nursing experience
