Mental Health Therapist
Better Living Foster Care & Family Services invites applications for the Mental Health Therapist position. This role supports children and families within the Nebraska child welfare system by providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health services.
Responsibilities Mental Health Therapists facilitate individual, conjoint, and family sessions related to the area of family functioning concern. They assess barriers to engagement, facilitate motivation, guide families in practicing needed changes, and address family trauma and symptomology.
Qualifications
Education/Certification Requirements
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Hold or be eligible to hold a Nebraska Mental Health Licensing Practitioner’s License (provisional).
Experience Requirements
1 to 2 years of experience in direct therapy practices (preferred).
