Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Days – Albuquerque Public Schools
AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque, part of the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System, welcomes applicants for a Registered Nurse role to support our ICU/Step‑down units.
Job Summary Provide direct and indirect patient care in a long‑term acute care setting, monitoring and responding to changes in clinical status, and performing general nursing duties across departments.
Responsibilities
Communicate with physicians, CCO/co‑workers, and families regarding patient condition and diagnostic results.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Manage patients with respiratory failure, sedation/pain management, pressor management, cardiac/anti‑arrhythmic management, IV antibiotics, chronic wounds, and wound vacs.
Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure for the State of New Mexico.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Acute care experience preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
