Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable
Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
to provide high-quality care in fast-paced emergency settings across various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in acute care, quick to respond to emergencies, and comfortable adapting to new environments.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in accordance with emergency protocols.
Deliver direct patient care for a variety of emergent conditions including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory emergencies.
Administer medications, start IVs, monitor vital signs, and manage emergency equipment.
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver effective care.
Provide patient and family education and emotional support in high-stress situations.
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the facility’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of assignment (or compact license if applicable).
Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not mandatory.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to new environments, protocols, and teams.
Proficient in use of EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech).
Assignment Details
Travel contract: typically 13 weeks (may vary).
Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Housing and travel stipends provided (as per agency policy).
Competitive hourly pay, per diem, and bonus opportunities.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.
Must be able to respond quickly in high-pressure emergency situations.
