Job Summary Sign on bonus: $3,750. This is a full‑time, 36 hours per week night shift position in the Med/Surg Department at Baptist Medical Center South, Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities
Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.
Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care.
Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.sign.
Act as patient advocate.
Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.
Education Required : Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience
Less than 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience.
Telemetry experience.
Hospital experience.
License & Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse – required.
