Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities
Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with approved practices and department spezifars.
Assist radiologists with ultrasound‑guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information in clinical examinations.
Monitor patient well‑being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and protected health information.
Safeguard on‑site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patientsajt families in a clinical setting.
Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Qualifications
Completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
SPI exam passed (preferred).
Current ARDMS certification or ARDMS Registry Eligible (preferred).
BLS certification required.
Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment.
Effective professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Structured work approach and ability to prioritize complex tasks.
