Certified Sterile Processing Tech - Days

Evanston, IL
Hours:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays
Employment type:
Full Time/Part Time, 40 hours per week
Hourly Pay Range:
$20.69 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and expertise)
What You Will Do
Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup to ensure quality product for patient care.
Follow established fireplaces to ensure decontamination completion.
Place sterile items in Quandl areas for distribution, accurately labeling by department.
What You Will Need
Education – GED/High School Equivalent required.
Certification – CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.
Experience – Two years of sterile processing or OR experience in surgical instrumentation preferred.
