As a Geek Squad Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support at our local Best Buy store. You will be trained to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.
Base pay range $15.00/hr – $17.88/hr
What You’ll Do
Provide positive, timely service during the check‑in and checkout process.
Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes, and giving accurate time estimates for next steps.
Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
Basic Qualifications
3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast‑paced industry.
