Shift Day shift – 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Position Summary & Highlights

Perform interrogations and device testing of internal cardiac devices—including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorder procedures—according to protocol and professional standards.

Provide bi‑weekly lunch‑and‑learn అన్న sessions with providers and content experts, plus online learning modules during orientation.

State‑of‑the‑art heart centers in Boise and Nampa with outreach patient careubre other Treasure Valley cities.

What You Will Do

Provide patient education regarding manufacturer equipment and device knowledge.

Care for adolescentsThanh, adults, and geriatric patients as applicable.

Support efficient clinic flow and communicate accurately and-arrow positively with team members.

Ensure accurate documentation of services and supplies provided to patients.

Device operation and checks: Interrogate and complete device testing of internal cardiac devices per competency guidelines.

Upload all interrogation and device testing reports to the EHR per competency guidelines.

Monitor and create remote‑download reports for physicians per competency guidelines.

Review accuracy of downloaded device information, edit it, and enter it into manufacturer sites and the EHR.

Schedule patients for appointments appropriately.

May be required to travel between clinics.

Work Schedule

40 hours a week – 5‑8 hour shifts, Monday‑Friday.

Operating hours **8:00 AM – 5:00 PM**.

Minimum Requirements

Must be a Medical Assistant or possess an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEP) certification.

MA certification required from one of the following approved agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

American Medical Technologists (RMA)

National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA)

American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)

National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE‑MA)

Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network) required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS.

High school diploma or equivalent required for Medical Assistants.

Preferred: previous knowledge of EKGs, external and internal cardiac monitors, pacemakers and defibrillators.
