Clerk (Baking, Deli and Front Counter)
Location: 10 Pitkin Rd, Vernon, CT, USA
Primary Purpose: The key role of a Clerk is to serve and delight customers with fresh baked goods, handmade pastries, and complementary products. They help customers with inquiries, guide them to appropriate items, and maintain a clean and inviting kitchen and front area. Depending on store needs, clerks may perform additional duties.
Responsibilitiesbalance include:
Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner praticebookk.
Preparing and decorating baked goods and other treats.
Answering customer questions and locating requested items.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety precautions in the kitchen and storefront.
Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.
Qualifications and attributes:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional baking training preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle physical tasks such as lifting ingredients.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
