Position Overview We are seeking a qualified School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students during the 2025–2026 academic year. This role involves providing speech and language services to elementary-aged students (Kindergarten through 5th grade) in a school setting. The ideal candidate is student-focused, organized, and experienced in managing school-based caseloads while collaborating with educators and support staff.
Student Population:
Elementary (K–5th grade)
Caseload Size:
Approximately 25–30 students
Service Setting:
School-based
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
Support students’ academic and functional communication needs
Required Qualifications
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Ability to work effectively in a school-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Experience managing elementary caseloads and IEP documentation
Additional Information
Full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
All orientation hours are billable
Assignment follows the full academic calendar
Compliance with district and state education requirements is mandatory
Base Pay Range $50.00/yr - $56.00/yr
