Warehouse Summer Student (McClean Lake)

Our McClean Lake mill is the most technologically advanced mill in the world for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. As a warehouse summer student, you will keep issue, handle and distribute inventory. There will be plenty of opportunity to work alongside other departments and get a good understanding of our operation. We look forward to your application!
Responsibilities
Issuing of material from inventory
Handling/Management and Distribution of all Materials for shipping and receiving
Customer Service
Daily Equipment Checks and Fuel Checks
Stock coding new items
Proper placement of inventory and direct charge materials
Physical inventory - cycle counts
General support as needed for warehouse projects
Skills and Qualifications
Must be a resident of the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewans north (RSN)
Possess a grade 12 diploma or equivalent and must be enrolled in a post-secondary program commencing in the fall
Must be dependable and able to work independently with ability to multitask effectively
Must have good communication skills
Successfully pass the Transportation of Dangerous Goods exam if required
Demonstrate good computer skills; SAP knowledge is considered an asset
Ability to work a rotating shift, work schedule and operate a forklift
Efforts and Demands
This position is physically demanding
Person must work with other departments to ensure a productive work flow
Shift Work may be required
Managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis is the norm
Work Location & Schedule
McClean Lake site
14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
