Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at Circle K in Bozeman, MT. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced, fun environment, with a focus on maintaining high service standards and supporting the Store Manager’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager with day‑to‑day oversight of store operations.
Help with hiring, supervising, and coaching staff to accomplish daily tasks and maintain merchandising standards.
Maintain high customer service standards, providing fast and friendly service.
Ensure regular on‑site attendance and adherence to company policies.
Execute high‑standard food program procedures and lead by example for staff.
Qualifications
Retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring skills; experience handling food is a plus.
High school diploma or college degree required.
Strong leadership, communication, team building, and problem‑solving abilities.
Cash handling, bookkeeping, and safety and security knowledge.
Physical Requirements
Stand or walk up to 8 hours; lift up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
Occasionally lift 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
Push/pull with arms up to 20 pounds; bend at waist with twisting for up to one hour.
Climb ladders to retrieve materials or place/remove signs.
