Home Care Worker - Qualified Churches of Christ Home Care - Warwick, Stanthorpe & Toowoomba Permanent Part-Time and Casual Opportunities. Immediate Start Available.

About the role Churches of Christ are currently looking for caring and reliable staff to assist individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary support to set you up for success within this role.

You’ll be based from either our Toowoomba office which is centrally located near all amenities or our light‑filled modern aged care facility in Warwick, both have ample on‑site parking for staff. You will also be supplied a mobile phone for work use and have access to our fleet of vehicles to use during your shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients around Toowoomba, Stanthorpe, Warwick, Allora, Crows Nest and surrounding areas, depending on your base location.

Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.

Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities in one of our modern fleet vehicles.

Encourage independence and well‑being in a home environment.

What we’re looking for Are you somebody who is passionate about delivering quality home‑care services to the local community? Providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community.

Our ideal candidate

Is passionate about delivering high‑quality home‑care services.

Currently holds a Certificate III in Individual Support.

Currently holds, or is willing to obtain, a Medication competency.

Currently holds a First Aid and CPR qualification.

Currently holds, or is willing to obtain, a current Police Check.

A current driver’s license –ommen; while you may need to use your own vehicle for work from time to time (for which you will be compensated at 96c per km), we have a fleet of vehicles at your disposal for most of your shiftsCarlos.

Hold valid Australian Work Rights – unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor.
