2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor As the 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor, you will plan, organize, and supervise a team of Maintenance Technicians to meet departmental objectives and support long‑term goals. You will provide strong leadership and management to implement cost‑reducing, quality, safety, and asset ROI improvements.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance activities for the 2nd shift.
Implement customer‑focused processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage workforce, labor estimating, and resource balancing.
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety practices and procedures.
Oversee troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
Maintain high confidentiality and professional standards.
Qualifications
Electro‑Mechanical Degree, Supervisory Management Certification, Industrial Electrical Journeyman, Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Journeyman, Maintenance Technician Journeyman, or related field or equivalent experience.
3–5 years maintenance experience in a high‑speed packaging or similar manufacturing environment.
2–3 years supervisory or lead experience.
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing facilities, equipment, and work‑management processes.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and procedures.
Technical expertise in mechanical, HVAC, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Proactive problem‑solving, organizational, leadership, and team‑building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of confidentiality.
