Global Power Components on 51st & Lincoln in Milwaukee is in need of Skilled or Entry Level Electricians & Electrical Assemblers. 1st & 2nd Shift Available with Flexible hours and Overtime Available but not Required. Hourly Wage is $17-$25, based on Experience. Join a Fast Growing Team in the construction of Large Steel & Aluminum Enclosures used in the Power Generation Industry.
Responsibilities
Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and GPC fabricated components.
Light fabrication work: drilling, forming, wire striping and crimping.
Material Handling.
Work with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, & Team Leads.
Support the installation needs for various electrical equipment.
Requirements
Detail oriented with ability to learn to read blueprints and bill of materials.
Aptitude to learn GPC manufacturing processes.
Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Highly motivated with desire to learn and advance.
Ability to communicate and work well with others.
Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
