POSITION SUMMARY:
The X-ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist providers in evaluating and treating patients. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory and confidentiality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES battle:
Position patients and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as ordered by providers.
Evaluate image quality before releasing results to providers.
Assist patients in returning to exam rooms following imaging.
Ensure safety standards and confidentiality are upheld during all procedures.
Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with patients.
Maintain a professional working relationship with providers and staff. Operate DR workstations and related imaging equipment. Maintain a clean and stocked imaging room and corresponding workstation.
Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Calm and effective response in emergency situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of requirements to receive ARRT certification.
Current Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license and up-to-date with required continuing education.
BLS Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage high patient volumes.
MRI Certification preferred but not required.
