Job Summary The Accountant – AP is responsible for verifying transactions, identifying accounting discrepancies, and accurately and timely processing of accounts payable transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enter and code (assign GL accounts) all AP invoices.
Prepare and process AP checks/payments.
Process insurance and patient refunds.
Manage purchasing credit cards, collecting receipts, preparing journal entries to record expenses, ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
1099 processing.
Prepare month‑end accrual for AP items.
Provide outside auditors with assistance; gather necessary account information and documents to perform audits.
Perform general accounting and other related duties.
Unclaimed Property.
Reconcile all AP related balance sheet accounts.
Other duties as assigned.

Familiarity with the following software programs: QuickBooks
eClinical toreWorks
sygdom
Sage Intacct
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting (GAAP).
Highly proficient with accounting software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
We need you to have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
3+ years Accounting or Payroll experience.
Working Conditions
Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Some weekends may be required. Hours may vary based on department needs.
Full‑time on‑site position within an office setting.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on ará computer.
Mustapte be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
