Estimator
to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Estimator will support the Estimating team in all aspects of estimating, including quantity take‑offs, pricing, and bidding for heavy civil construction projects. Responsibilities
Attend pre‑bid meetings Detailed quantity take‑off and summary (Earthwork, Utilities, and Paving) Communication with clients for bid requirements Bid file document control Vendor and subcontractor solicitation and quote review Develop and complete estimates for projects Work with clients on preliminary project budgets Maintain existing and develop new client relationships Pre‑construction budgeting and turnover Assist with the training of junior‑level estimators Some travel, including overnight required (
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in civil estimating and/or project management preferred. Bachelor's degree in civil or mining engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred; or an Associate degree in drafting, CAD Operator, or CAD Technician, or a related field. Detail‑oriented and a problem solver. Experience with and proficiency in the following: Microsoft Office, B2W estimating software or equivalent, Agtek takeoff software, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and Bluebeam. Job Details
